I was ready for the first weekend of racing, but my truck had other plans and broke. Then having to ride my bike to work and back in the cold and rain, i became very sick and missing most of a week of work. This brings me up to the Dade City races. Only being on a bike 2 times in three weeks, i didn't expect to much from my body. True to this i was dropped 15 miles into the 51 mile road race and only lasted 7 laps with the field in Sundays crit.<br /><br />The weekend of Feb 21/22 my Mom and Dad were in town from Indiana and i was unable to race. It is great to be on a team that has done so well without me and understand the problems i have faced so far the year.
